Baby Bounce Camp
Ages: 10-14
This camp will be used to expose youth to the sport of beach volleyball in a fun setting. Although the emphasis will be on beach volleyball, we will facilitate participation in other sports as well in order to keep the setting vibrant and enjoyable. Campers will be broken up into groups based on ability in order to ensure a positive experience for all. The camper to coach ratio will be low (5:1) providing plenty of opportunity throughout the week for personal instruction to each athlete. The camp winds up with a mini-tournament on Friday where prizes will be awarded to teams in the various divisions.
Campers should pack their own lunches, water, and sunscreen.
Price: $175
Developmental Skills Camp
Ages: 15-17
Campers will be coached by some of the most elite players in Canada exposing them to beach volleyball instruction at a level they will not see anywhere else in the region. Campers will be broken up by gender and ability in order to ensure instruction on skills and tactics that are appropriate to their ability level. There will be a very low camper to coach ratio (4:1) to allow the coaches plenty of opportunity for intensive personal instruction to those attending. Campers will also be exposed to physical training methods they can use to improve their game beyond the week long camp.
Campers should pack their own lunches, water, and sunscreen.
Participants in the camp will be granted free entry into one of the four youth tournaments in Ottawa during the summer of 2009.
